Works Well Seems to work as well or better than those I’ve bought at the local big-box store. The season is just beginning so we haven’t used it much yet. If that changes, I’ll come update. I can’t imagine it not being just fine, thought!June 11: Used for a couple of weeks now. Is definitely better made than my former model. I’ll buy this one again when needed. I like this skimmer because it is slightly bigger than others (about 13″ x 13″) and is lightweight. The sturdy nylon mesh is solidly and neatly melded into the polypropylene frame. I need a fine mesh screen that I found at my local pool store that removes fine dust/debris/ tiny bugs that slip under the screen door enclosure. Framing is not steel/metal reinforced which is both a pro and a con based on your desired usage.
